How Can a Naturopath Help Me?

Bloating, IBS, reflux, SIBO and ongoing digestive concerns

Hot flushes, sleep, mood, energy, weight changes and other symptoms through perimenopause and menopause.

With more than 80 recognised autoimmune diseases, each person’s experience is different.

Including Graves’ disease, Hashimoto’s, fatigue, energy and nutritional concerns.

Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain

Chronic pain often comes with fatigue, poor sleep and low energy, making a whole-person approach particularly important.

Good nutrition doesn’t need to be complicated. Practical, personalised advice can help you eat well while considering your health, symptoms and everyday life.

What Happens in a Naturopath Consultation?

Your first consultation gives us time to look at the whole picture. We’ll discuss your current symptoms, health history, diet, lifestyle, medications, supplements and what you would most like to improve.

01 — Listen
We talk through your symptoms, health history, diet, lifestyle and health goals.

02 — Investigate
We review relevant blood tests and medical results and consider whether further testing may be useful.

03 — Make a Plan
Together we create a realistic, personalised plan that may include nutrition, lifestyle changes, herbal medicine or practitioner supplements where appropriate.

What might be included in your protocol or plan?

Your plan is individualised to you. Depending on your health needs, it may include a combination of:

Nutrition

Practical food and nutrition strategies tailored to your health needs, symptoms and everyday life.

Herbal Medicine

Individualised herbal medicines or herbal teas may be prescribed where appropriate, based on your health needs and goals.

Nutritional Supplements

Practitioner-quality supplements may be recommended when appropriate to address specific nutritional needs and support your treatment plan.

Lifestyle Support

Realistic strategies around sleep, movement, stress and everyday habits to support your health and make your plan achievable long term.

Functional Testing - when is it useful?

Testing isn’t necessary for everyone. Where appropriate, I may recommend reviewing existing blood tests or discussing additional functional testing to help better understand what may be contributing to your symptoms.

Testing may include:

  • Comprehensive blood test review
  • Microbiome and stool testing
  • SIBO breath testing
  • Organic acids testing
  • Nutritional and other functional testing where appropriate
