Naturopath ADHD Autism
My experience as a mum with a daughter with ADHD
In 1995 I gave birth to a beautiful little girl.
As she grew into a toddler she could be the sweetest little thing or the naughtiest child that hit, bite, screamed, throwing things and tantrums.
To start off with I truly thought this was just the terrible twos.
At this time I wasn’t a naturopath but I really did not want to put my little girl on Ritalin. I found doctors and natural health practitioners that were able to guide me through the minefield of allergy/intolerance testing and then diets. I remember crying through my first supermarket shop. All the foods that I thought were good for my family were actually reacting with my baby girl and making her naughty. If you are a parent going through this you understand how hard it is.
I am pleased to say that although we had ups and downs we all survived. As an adult, she has just completed a university bachelor’s degree.
How as a natuopath I can help you with your own or your child ADHD or Autism
My university studies of naturopathy and nutrition, combined with my personal experience as a mother of a child with ADHD, uniquely position me to provide valuable support and guidance to other parents facing similar challenges.
My academic background equips me with in-depth knowledge and understanding of naturopathic principles, dietary interventions, and holistic approaches to health. This expertise allows yme to offer evidence-based insights and strategies to parents seeking alternative and complementary solutions for managing ADHD symptoms.
Furthermore, my personal experience gives me a firsthand understanding of the emotional and practical aspects of raising a child with ADHD.
This empathy allows me to connect with other parents on a deeper level, providing you with a safe space to share your concerns and fears.
I have many adult patients and parents, totally overwhelmed by the amount of material on the internet about what you should or shouldn’t do.
By combining my academic knowledge with personal anecdotes, I can inspire hope, offer practical advice, and empower other parents to make informed decisions in their journey towards supporting their ADHD children’s well-being.

Workshop : Natural solutions for ADHD and Autism
Parents often seek guidance and support to explore natural solutions for ADHD and autism in their children. This demand has made me team up with my a local occupational therapist (OT) to host workshops.
Such a workshop, led by a naturopath and an OT, offers valuable insights and practical strategies.
Parents are drawn to this workshop to gain a deeper understanding of holistic approaches, like dietary changes, supplements, and lifestyle adjustments that can complement conventional therapies. They appreciate the opportunity to learn from experts who can provide a well-rounded perspective, offering hope and actionable steps to improve their child’s well-being.
This workshop empowers parents with knowledge, enabling them to make informed choices and provide the best possible care for their children’s unique needs.
