About Leah
Hi, I'm Leah
I’m a university-qualified Naturopath and Nutritionist based in North Gosford on the NSW Central Coast.
My approach combines science-backed natural health care with practical, realistic changes that fit into everyday life.
I didn’t come to naturopathy because I believed health was simple. My own health journey, and watching people close to me navigate chronic health conditions, taught me how frustrating it can be when you don’t feel well and don’t know where to start.
That experience shapes the way I work today. I look at the whole picture — your symptoms, nutrition, lifestyle, health history and test results — while keeping recommendations realistic for your life.

Why I became a Naturopath
Natural health became personal for me long before it became my career.
I had what we used to simply call a “funny tummy” from childhood. Digestive problems were just something I learned to live with, without really understanding why they were happening.
Later, I developed Graves’ disease, an autoimmune thyroid condition. Autoimmune disease has also been a big part of my family’s story — both my mother and my son have experienced autoimmune disease.
My daughter’s health journey has given me another perspective. She has navigated ADHD, fibromyalgia and endometriosis, so as a mum I’ve seen how chronic pain, fatigue and other ongoing symptoms can affect far more than just physical health — they can affect work, family life and everyday living.

All of this made me increasingly curious about the connections between gut health, the immune system, hormones, nutrition, pain, stress and lifestyle. I wanted to understand why one person develops a particular condition, why symptoms can seem completely unrelated, and what we can realistically do to support better health.
That curiosity eventually took me to university to study naturopathy and nutrition. What began as a search for answers became something I genuinely loved — understanding the body and bringing together natural medicine, nutrition and modern health science.
My experiences still shape the way I practise today. I know what it’s like to be the person looking for answers, and I know what it’s like to worry about the health of someone you love.
Most importantly, I know that health happens in the middle of real life — families, work, budgets, stress, celebrations and the occasional less-than-perfect day.
I don’t expect perfection. I want my patients to feel heard, understand their body better, and have a realistic plan for moving forward.
My Approach
Look at the whole picture
Symptoms rarely exist in isolation. We look at your health history, nutrition, lifestyle, medications, stress and relevant test results.
Realistic Goals
There’s no point creating the “perfect” health plan if it doesn’t fit your life, budget or family.
Work Together
Natural medicine doesn’t have to be either/or. I’m happy to work alongside your GP, specialists and other healthcare practitioners.
Qualifications and Professional Training
- Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy)
- Advanced Diploma of Nutritional Medicine
My training included nutritional medicine, herbal medicine, clinical assessment, pathology and health science. I continue to build on this through professional education and research so that my recommendations draw on both traditional naturopathic practice and current evidence.
What this means for you
You won’t receive a one-size-fits-all plan. I take the time to understand your health history, symptoms, diet, lifestyle and any relevant pathology or functional testing before making recommendations.
Where appropriate, I’m also happy to work alongside your GP or specialist. Natural medicine can complement conventional healthcare — it doesn’t have to replace it.
